This book confused me a lot -I enjoyed the first half of the book, but then the second one was just painful. Me gustó cómo está narrada la historia y cómo Marin es capaz de contar los hechos de una forma aparentemente neutra pero que tiene mucho de sí misma. Mientras más sabemos de su pasado, más queremos entender por qué está queriendo estar sola y menos entendemos a su abuelo.

There are many ways of being alone, and the last time wasn't like this.
This was a beautiful book about loneliness; about the different forms it takes, and how you can feel more than one kind at the same time. How you can ache for it but keep yourself insolated, how it drains you until you don't make sense anymore.
