The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein is an interesting retelling of Mary Shelly’s classic, Frankenstein, which focuses on the story of Elizabeth, Victor’s sweetheart and only realm of peace on the original book. To be honest, Frankenstein was not my cup of tea though I recognize the importance and relevance of the themes it explores.

The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein is an interesting retelling of Mary Shelly’s classic, Frankenstein, which focuses on the story of Elizabeth, Victor’s sweetheart and only realm of peace on the original book. Si bien este libro es un retelling del famoso clásico Frankenstein, en esta versión la protagonista es una joven llamada Elizabeth, quien es salvada de su hogar de acogida por la señora Frankenstein que decide llevarla a vivir con su familia para que sea amiga de Victor, su hijo mayor, quién tenía problemas de temperamento.
