I picked this up because I read her first book Is Everyone Hanging Out without Me and I thought it was pretty funny. I thought this one was pretty good too.

Although do not go into this read thinking it is a tome of hilarity. It is an insight into Kalings life and specifically her more recent life. It is more like gossiping with your Best friend then reading the witty humor of a celebrity. I think that is why I enjoyed it so much! So first off, I love MK, so I might be biased. But this book is fabulous. I tore through it in a number of hours and wish she would write more. She is honest, funny, brave, confident and adventurous. I love how she shares herself with us, and reassures us that yes, she may rock things on the screen but she also just wants to go home and watch television. I am seriously hoping she writes another book now that she's a mom because I can only imagine how hilarious that one will be too. ...more
