I picked this up because I read her first book Is Everyone Hanging Out without Me and I thought it was pretty funny. I thought this one was pretty good too.
Although do not go into this read thinking it is a tome of hilarity. It is an insight into Kalings life and specifically her more recent life. So first off, I love MK, so I might be biased. But this book is fabulous. I tore through it in a number of hours and wish she would write more. She is honest, funny, brave, confident and adventurous. I love how she shares herself with us, and reassures us that yes, she may rock things on the screen but she also just wants to go home and watch television. I am seriously hoping she writes another book now that she's a mom because I can only imagine how hilarious that one will be too.
