When I first got this book I knew I was going to like it. When I finished it I ended up LOVING IT!! It was soooooo good I couldnt put it down. It had a little bit of everything and Prince Kai is so awesome. For me it did start a little slow but immediately picked up after a couple of chapters. All the characters were great and Cinder is truly a stong heroine. The book reminded me a little of Sailor Moon, a show that I like also, but was unique in its own way.

Maybe I read too many good things about this book and I expected too much of it, I don't know, but I gotta say, this book did not jump the level I expected it to.

It was an ok book, don't get me wrong - the main idea was good, I loved some of the ways the author put the old story on there and that she didn't fear getting away from the original Cinderella; and the characters were well developped and likable too.

I liked this book a lot more than I was expecting. I put off reading this book for almost a year until I had multiple people telling me to just read it, it was amazing. So I finally did it. Boy am I glad!!! It has a different twist than most books I have read recently, which has helped with a reading slump I've felt my self getting into.
