A different format for a basketball book - in verse, with lots of descriptive rhymes. At first I wasn't overly enthralled, but it has stuck with me and I remember all of the plots and storyline - so that means something in itself.

I thought this was really well done. I'm not particularly into basketball and I was able to follow what was going on on the court. Everything fit to make this an effective piece of writing. I like that the family was intact and involved.

I took the time to re-read this book as one of the titles to be considered for the Kids Reading Across RI initiative. Still think it may be too old for our target age group but it's still a fantastic story of basketball, brothers and family.

Wow! Excellent story for older kids and younger teens. The twin main characters are in 7th grade, love playing basketball and each other until jealousy comes between them. Their mom and dad are present and active in their lives too. Excellent audio!
