Exhilarating, fun, frightening, exhausting. An exciting read. Twists and turns. Survival of the wisest.
I enjoyed the story but not the typical good writing I expect from Janet Evanovich. Too much Emerson said, Riley said, Vernon said. It was like counting the “ums” at a first meeting of a new toastmasters group. Kid of annoying and distracting.
Didn't understand half of the scientific Mumbo Jumbo storyline and didn't care.
