What a bittersweet ending to a great writing career. He will be missed. A great story teller. And this one brought me to tears and laughter as all great stories do.

The story just ended and this is the end of them all. I can't put my finger on why I enjoy Haruf's stories. They are just about life and the odd little things that happen.
