What a painful book to read. Having lived through the Vietnam war, it reminded me how crazy that time was. The book opens with the fall of Saigon in 1975. It is told completely in the first person by a Vietnamese man, who although he is a captain in the S. Vietnamese army, working with CIA operatives in intelligence, is actually a mole for the North Vietnamese supporting the communist takeover of his country.
