This book was fantastic!!!!!! A historical novel based on primary source material, it nevertheless reads like a turn of the century mystery involving three sassy, independent New Jersey women who managed to bring down a local criminal with the help of the sheriff. i loved the characters and the writing, and laughed and sighed aloud at many parts, which is unusual for me.
