Sang Ly lives with her husband Ki Lim and their son Nisay at Stung Meanchey, one of the largest municipal waste dumps in Cambodia. Nisay is often sick so while Ki Lim is at work in the dump Sang Ly is tending to her son. They barely have enough to eat but have lived in the dump long enough that they have a canvas curtain for a front door to their shelter.
