What Members Thought
I was looking forward to reading this book before I started. I figured since it had been made into a movie more than once--and more than once given high acclaim--the book must be great. The story focuses on George Smiley, a former UK intelligence operative who has been out of the game for a short time, when he is called back to find a mole in the organization. The kernel of the story is very good; the writing and style is what held me back from enjoying this book.
