I feel compelled to down grade my rating of this book from five stars to four. While I really enjoyed this story, the recent discussions around this book have made me realize the issues of cultural appropriation or misrepresentation that I didn't originally understand (thanks to my own privilege). I still think this story is worth reading, and I loved following Natalie on this journey, but I needed to reevaluate my rating.

3.75* I loved the book alot. I enjoyed the characters and the plot. I felt the ending was a very rushed and left so many open endings that to me made me want more. I think the massive info dump at the end could have been more sprinkled throuhgout the novel. But I loved the time travel element and just wish the ending was a more clear and not so open ended!
