Hauntingly beautiful - truly heartbreaking and yet very life affirming!!!! I admire her courage to write about her tragic loss.
Stunning.
This is so emotional and raw, if you are going to read it, prepare yourself. Sonali shares her memories of the tsunami and the extraordinary loss of her parents, her husband, her two boys, and her friend. She starts off so angry and darkly depressed, almost a verbal keening, but slowly, as she tells more stories of those she lost, and as the year pass, you can hear the acceptance. It's clear there will always be a gaping hole in her heart but she grows to remember without pain.
