This is a great, approachable book about the development of the birth control pill. The first hundred pages or so were a bit slow for me, perhaps because I'm fairly familiar with Margaret Sanger's biography. Once the book got into the actual development of the pill and the involvement of millionaires, eccentric scientists, Catholic doctors, and large portions of Puerto Rico it really took off.
