What Members Thought
Well this was an interesting read, for sure. I won't comment on how "true" this is (there's lots of debate, apparently, about the specifics of the events as depicted by the author). Sometimes the author is kind of obnoxious (about her appearance especially later in the book), but I guess if we're all being honest we're all obnoxious now and then. The end of the book is very weird too. She's just kind of like "I got a book deal and bam I'm out!" and doesn't explain how she was able to leave with

Good story, but big gaps that are not quite explained enough. Knowing a little about the Orthodox community, there are things (like receiving a "get") that she just breezes over, but probably take a very long time and involve a lot of drama.
