What Members Thought
What a great collection. I'm clearly well disposed toward medieval literature, but this is just so pleasing. The translation is deft - not that I can compare to the original, but the prose here feels natural and straightforward. The stories themselves are amazingly modern, both in morality and in the focus on the women, and are very enjoyable. Absolutely a book I would read again.
