First let me say I like Ashley Judd as an actress. I was looking forward to a book about her. Which is what I would expect from a memoir. She does use about 5 chapters or so to describe her life growing up, but much of the book is about her very recent time going to third world countries to speak to people there about birth control, mosquito nets, and safe drinking water. Don't get me wrong this is very heart-warming and selfless thing to do, but I wanted to know about her past not her yesterday ...more

Great book! Couldn't put it town. Weaves personal experiences with present endeavors so well! Heartbreaking stories but with hope. Definitely recommend this! ...more
