You craft the most awkward characters and the most painfully uncomfortable moments, and I kinda love everything you touch. Made me feel simultaneously uncomfortable, appalled and turned on throughout much of it, which makes me think it's brilliant and I just can't wrap my head around it. It's certainly its own brand of weird, which I can always appreciate, even if it wasn't a favorite. I will always love her work!

This book was unsettling at times (well, most of the time), but fiercely honest and often funny. Really well written.
