What I liked: Setting of the Belgian Congo/Zaire, discussion of the Western/white man's destructive influence and the failures of their self-righteous attitudes of cultural superiority.
What I didn't like: While I liked the idea of using five distinct narrative voices to craft a multi-faceted story, I often found the individual voices to be a little contrived in their effort to remain consistent in portraying a particular attitude or personality.
