So...I rounded up. The Secret History of Wonder Woman seems to be a wonderfully researched book with the audiobook passionately read by the author. I think listening to it helped propel me through what might be dense bits of history peppered with scandal and weird, but the reading often felt like yelling. I'm glad I read Secret Hstory, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped. I've been spoiled by my recent nonfiction reading of authors that are a joy to read as well as delivering interesting information. This felt more like reading a text book. That being said, there are a lot of interesting tidbits in there and it makes for a good conversation piece. This is a fantastic biography of the creator(s) of Wonder Woman! It's a delight to read, clearly written, and well organized (I was able to keep track of lots of names, etc with ease).
