We are reading this for our book club as we chose classics for our genre of the month. I love the perspective of authors in their time period, but Main Street was about 300 pages too long. Set in the early 1900s, it is the story of a young woman who marries a small town doctor and moves to his town in Minnesota to set up her home. We meet her neighbors and other townsfolk who she meets along her journey in her new life. Not the feel good story I was hoping for.
