A super-fun fairy tale, and my son loved it, too -- especially the sounds that the dragon made when he was burning down the forest!

If you like your princesses clever and funny, than definitely be sure to check out Munsch's classic Paper Bag Princess. Rather than despair when her kingdom goes up in smoke and flames, this princess decides to rescue what she's got left. It's a story with lovely role reversal, as Princess Elizabeth must rescue her betrothed Ronald from the clutches of a hungry, and rather arrogant dragon.
