just realized i forgot to add this after reading it last week
anyways this is p good. i was really into walter dean myers when i was in middle school so i think he's def good at reaching his intended audience
uhhh idk i don't really have any opinions here, even when i was writing my ~academic~ response for my class i threw my hands in the air and did it readers advisory style
so yeah the whole movie form's kinda neat, could probably get a decent convo going on whether he's innocent and whether the ...more

Could be a great companion text for To Kill a Mockingbird. Form contributes well to meaning.
This is the Walter Dean Myers everyone knows and loves, myself included.
Told in the form of a screen play; great book. Young adult.
