What Members Thought
There are some really great descriptions throughout the books. However, some of how the magic and the forest works is glossed over and/or not explained in a clear manner. I'm not sure that I'll read the next one at this point although I do like the idea of a "new" Baba Yaga.

Couldn’t put it down. Just loved it and my only criticism, if you can call it that, is that I wish it wasn’t a standalone so there would be more. Totally riveting, great characters, thrilling story. A winner!
Better than average fantasy story. The landscape was Polish and it was a nice change of pace from Western Europe. The main character was a nice strong female lead and it did not have a formulaic plot (always the worry with fantasy).
