What Members Thought
This story could have used some serious editing. I know it is a memoir of a teen but that is no excuse. The beginning, the part about her mother, could and should really have been "shown" instead of telling. The narrator was unreliable using terms like "probably" and "about". It would have been a much more impactful story had it been approached another way. Or even gone through and omitted all these wishy washy terms.
