I was unable to put this book down as it reached its conclusion. Yes, there are weaknesses--too melodramatic at times, language that is a little too florid, and a few predictable plot points. Aside from that, it is excellent. It is exactly the kind of book that grips your imagination and won't let it go. I'm a sucker for books about books, and this was no exception. Daniel, the narrator, finds a book in the Cemetery of Forgotten Books, and then learns that a mysterious figure is going around trying to destroy all copies of all books written by that author. The ensuing story is full of twists and turns as the reader learns through Daniel who the major players are and what might have actually happened. Eeeeeek sorry Jen, and I know I'm in the minority, but the first half of the book I was thinking "eh?" and the second half I said out loud more than once "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME."
