My first Atwood. Took me a little while to get into it, but with about three hundred pages left I couldn't put it down until the end so... yes. I suppose that means it is a good book. But not in the Da Vinci Code sense. There is indeed more to it than being un-put-down-able. Like sprinkled stories of far off lands, and lovely prose, and heat.
