I picked this book up because I was desperately looking for something to transport me from my daily life, and, "Wow," I forgot just how good Austen is. Soon I found myself up at 1 a.m., pouring over this story.

That's it- I'm done with Jane Austen. I've tried. I have now read two of her books, and that is enough of my time wasted. I don't understand what the big deal is- I just find her novels so unbelievably boring. I apologize to those of you who love her work, but it really really is not for me. I really did try my best, and right now I'm just patting myself on the back for finally finishing this little book after starting it a dozen times. Love her if you want; she just is not for me.
