I love Jojo Moyes. This wasn't my favorite of her books that I've read (Me Before You & The Girl You Left Behind were simply amazing)...but I liked it a whole lot. I love a good love story. And I adore her writing. I need more Jojo in my life. :)

I am no longer categorizing this author as chick lit. Her plots do follow a familiar, rom-com movie-like structure, but not only is that really well done (like a really GOOD rom com - like maybe Notting Hill or something?), she does a great job tapping into characters' emotions, and touches on real issues like financial struggles - about a zillion times better than, say, Emily Giffin. I'm really glad to have a reliably enjoyable author to turn to again!
