A very satisfying read. Really very good.
I gave up on this after a 100+ pages. I finished the first story set during World War I and was disappointed with it. First few pages of the contemporary story of painting didn't hold my attention.

I have not read a book this good in a long time. I loved every word and did not want it to end. I wish we had more of Sophie; what an amazing character. When we switched to Liv, I was a little annoyed because Sophie had such an enormous presence, but Liv shines through in the end. I'll definitely be reading all of the rest of Moyes' novels.

Liked it, entertained me, interested me...but unfortunately this author's books will forever be compared to Me Before You, which was so incredible that is made this one seem...fine.

I like her books sent in the current day far better than her historical fiction. Everything about this felt shallow and contrived.
