Hoo boy. This is billed as a love story, but it's pretty much a cheating story. The narrator, who is not given a gender, has lots of stories about his or her past relationships with men and women, many of them married. Then comes Louise, who is the special one, the one the narrator obsesses about. Louise is fabulous, beautiful, and married.
