Better than After the Woods, which this book is seemingly similar to (especially the characterization and dynamics between the two leads Tessa and Callie here and Julia and Liv in After the Woods) but nonetheless a really slow...slow...slow start. It picked up about halfway, but I was already losing interest.
Also, what is it with teenage sleuths getting themselves into nearly logistically impossible, illegal, and unbelievable situations? And, what don't the adults around them ever LIST ...more
