I am tentative about recommending this book to just any one. The first four chapters did not sit well with me and his whole premise challenges our faith in literacy and the written word. Personally, I found the book insightful and it triggered a lot of questions I had to wrestle with (and still am). However, the more I become interested in reclaiming women's discourse and a balanced power structure between men and women the more I enjoy reading books that challenge everything we hold dear. ...more
