I enjoyed how Gloeckner interwove this book with diary entries and comics/drawings. I really think it added to the story. I enjoyed this novel but it was a little hard to read. I could relate to the main character, Minnie; when I was a teenager I was incredibly naive and didn't make the best choices. What's interesting I now realize is at the time I was a teenager, like Minnie, I thought I was very aware and in touch with who I was, and my decisions etc. But looking back I'm like, WTH?!, I was s ...more
