The first half of this was a delight. The second half tugged at my heart. My mom had a great description of the book... it was like reading the best parts of a diary. It is clear that Offill loves language and takes thought in crafting precisely.

Poignant and tender. It took a bit to get into the fragmented voice, but I loved it. Very well crafted.
