I loved this. Out of Africa is one of my favorite books and honestly I love any book about Africa so it's not a big surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed this. A fictionalized account of Beryl Markham's life, this book takes you from her childhood in Kenya to adulthood as she navigates a world that was not kind to free spirited women. A horse trainer, aviatrix and boundary breaker it is not hard to feel inspired by Beryl. Highly recommended.

I had to read this title for the book club I run at my library. I got it out on audiobook to make the process of reading it less forced, but I was disappointed nonetheless.
