I preferred her album 'Live' which spawned the book and then the documentary on Netflix. This was also good and delved into some of the same topics, with more information about her parents, but I felt the standup set and the documentary were able to connect in a more raw way.

I'm Just a Person who lost dozens of pounds with a weird bacterial disease, then lost her mom to a freak accident, then was diagnosed with breast cancer. No biggie, just another run of the mill person.

Whew, Tig. I was Not. Prepared. But I'm glad you took me on this journey and through these feelings and with these tears. Maybe not the audiobook for those dealing with losing parents or coping with a cancer diagnosis. Or maybe it's the perfect book? Geez.

I think she has a great story. I loved her documentary and I love her stand up. And knowing those things I did enjoy reading her book. It filled the gaps of other things I didn't know.

Rounding up from a 3+ just because I love her. This covers a lot of the same ground as her Moth talk and her amazing Amazon series One Mississippi (watch it if you haven't!), but in more and different detail.
