What Members Thought
Beautifully illustrated book, with short opinionated biographies of a diverse range of remarkable women. The stories are rated by maturity level, maturity level one could be read as a bedtime story, while the last few level 5 stories are downright horrifying. Phoolan Devi's story, the very last one, is particularly heart breaking because it is a contemporary one.

I initially bought this to give to my friend's little girl, but after perusing at home I realized my error. Despite it's Disneyesque illustrations, the stories are not for children (there is even a rating system to let you know just how mature each story is). Still I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned about dozens of women I now want to know more about!
