What Members Thought
Flif Shafak has quickly become a favorite author of mine but this book was not a complete success to me. Parts of this were excellent but other parts just didn't click . . . it is a bit of a memoir, a bit of discussion of other women authors (the best part!), a bit about postpartum depression but way too much about this "harem within", different aspects of Elif's personality (I guess) described as "finger women" fighting it out for the direction of her life. Somehow that analogy just didn't work
