What Members Thought

This book touched on so many issues that I care about -- marriage, parenthood, feminism, mental illness, addiction, pornography, spirituality.
It should have held me captive.
But something about Melton's voice just didn't "do" it for me. 4.5 stars, but it's definitely a personal rating. Listening to Glennon narrate her story in the audiobook, it was like catching up on the life of a good friend. Some of her views on things she's gone through are exactly the same thoughts I have, but she has way better words! This was not a straight read through for me... sometimes when some of her comments were something I closely related to I found myself sitting with her thoughts for a few days before I came back for another dose.
