What Members Thought
In a half-star world, I'd give this 1.5 stars; I guess I'm feeling generous today so I'm rounding up to 2. Lamb has an ambitious agenda here, and it feels like an agenda squeezed into a novel the whole way through. And the thing is, I wholeheartedly agree with his agenda! But it's so poorly written, and so lacking in what it could've been, that it falls terribly flat. My first thought after turning the last page was, "Well, there's five hours of my life I'll never get back."

I might change my mind later about this one. I don't know what I expected. I liked it best middle to end.
