I don't know how to describe this read. How do I say I didn't feel like I learned anything without sounding horrible? It was repetitive having read a couple of other books by her, and I wasn't impressed by the language as I have been in the past. It got better in the last half and it helped when she shifted her lens to society rather than herself.

I very much appreciated this open and honest memoir of what is like to live in an 'unruly body' and hope more people read it so that we can get past judging morbidly obese people and recognize just how hard it is for them to live in a world not designed to accommodate them.
