I don't know if I liked it or semi hated it. I feel so confused, a bit mislead and totally twisted up inside. Am I glad I read it YES, would I ever re-read it, no. It was a weird mix of story, blogger and memoir style. Would I follow that blog heck yeh ! I didn't like the story, it was a dull, heard it all before story though most of the book. Shelves: audio, mystery, horror, thriller, suspense, paranormal

First review of this book. Initially I had to shelve the book because of some really graphic sex scenes in the beginning but then I read and even more graphic novel involving children, the girl next door, so I was able to finish this book.

It seems the author has a big bone to pick with the church and religion in general, like so much of today’s fiction. I agree that the author’s encyclopedic knowledge of exorcisms was impressive.

I suppose it is a perfectly fine novel. I suppose I am not really into the whole demonic possession thing. I wasn't really scared. There were the normal creepy bits. I do question who was really possessed and what did really happen. I was intrigued enough to want to get to the end. All in all, it was fine. I am not sure if I can recommend it. But it does make me want to read The Exorcist, so that is a good thing. ...more

I think my favourite thing about this book is how absolutely polarizing this book is amongst it's readers. Whenever I see conversations about it, I always see people so convinced of a specific outcome, that others do not agree with.
