Spade, a powerful, mysterious vampire and Denise a damaged human..Vampires, shifters, demons, ghosts and sex...What’s not to like? It wasn’t a big issue, but I did find one key part of the resolution to be overly predictable and not very compelling. Even so, I enjoyed this novel as much as the NH novels and plan to read the next ones.

I did enjoy the book but found Denise a bit whiny for most of the story.
I have not actually read the 4th Night Huntress book yet as I am waiting until we are closer to the release date of the 5th book....so she may have a really good excuse. She just seemed like a much stronger and more secure person in the previous books. I really liked learning more about Spade.

Very good book. I already liked Denise, and was curious about Spade. I can now say he's smokin' hot. *laughs* I enjoyed the look into the other characters of the Night Huntress world's lives, and learning more about Spade and Denise.
