It's all about the chase for me. This one had a winning chase that just kept me glued to the pages, nibbling popcorn and sweating along the brow. I'm not talking just about the romantic chase yes that was there and it was excellent in my humble opinion The problem was a spiral that kept developing new layers that warped previous plans and required adjustments. Great start to a new series...the writing duo of Ilona Andrews rank in my top 5 of favorite authors....and I'm so glad the Renee Raudman is the narrator as she just brings their characters to life. Great read and listen. The one drawback is now waiting for the next one. ...more

Another great Ilona Andrews book!

This was my first book in this series and definitely won’t be my last. I really enjoyed both protagonists and look forward to continuing their story.
