Wow do I miss the Kate Daniels series. I absolutely abhor the fact that this series is over-happily there do seem to be a few tidbits out there I have not found. Such as A Questionable Client, which clues us in on how Kate and Saiman first encountered each other. Everything I loved about this series is here in miniature.
A prequel to Ilona Andrews's Magic Bites, this story fleshed out how Kate and Saiman first became acquainted and explains why a certain sect of Russian pagan priests might not like her. Short and sweet, not a bad story, but lacking in shifter interaction.
