OMG...I loved this book. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I absolutely got pulled in right from the start. I fell in love with Julian and Grace. And my stomach was in knots the whole darn time. Ms. Kenyon is one hell of a story teller. And I'm so glad that I discovered her. Thank you Ms. Kenyon for sharing this story with us.
Run don't walk to your nearness book store and buy this book.

Not terrible for a first book, but this was more of a wacky romance than an urban fantasy story. The second book is the 'real' first book in the Dark Hunter series. Julian is a good character in the series so if you want his origin story read this. But don't expect this to be like the rest of the books in the series. ...more
