I love this series. Urban fantasy at its best. If you like series like The Dresden Files this is definitely worth a try.
Alex Verus, a diviner with a growing reputation. Not a powerhouse mage but smart enough to find ways out of even the most perilous events. As usual he finds himself up against something way out of his league. Apprentices are disappearing, and he is to find out why.
New characters are introduced as well as Luna learning more about controlling her curse.

These are so close to being a 4. There's just a little too much not connecting the dots, even though it's really obvious sort of thing happening. Which is not only frustrating as a reader but just doesn't seem to fit Alex as a character. He's far more clever than that. ...more
