I had no idea this was the second in a series. I couldn't really tell that though, since it didn't constantly refer to unfamiliar events.
This was ok, I think I would have liked it a little better as a book than an audiobook, because the narrator had to do the voices of several adult males, females and a child. Plus, the main male character had a southern accent, which I am just really tired of in audiobooks, although being in Mississippi it does make sense.
