3.5 Well, isn't this a fun start!

I admit, I didn't really like the characters, and I can't say that I liked the fact that the next books each have different MCs (I was actually hoping that these two will grow and they'll actually be really cool), but the writing style is so good, I just can't leave the series.

Ok, so.

The overall plot is really cool, and so is the world we step into with this series. Yeah, the names can be a bit strange at the beginning, but hey, it's fantasy, what do you expec ...more

This book came off the dusty part of my TBR pile as part of my 2015 challenge, and I was pleasantly surprised by this. For some reason I thought the Aranae were spider people and truthfully that didn't sound all that appealing. But actually they have silk spinnerets on their fingertips and most have a venomous bite. Previously I read Hailey Edwards Gemini series and really loved it. And A Hint of Frost didn't disappoint. It was more fantasy than I normally read.
